Meghan at the US Open! Yes, you hear it right!
The princess of Sussex flew all the way to Atlantic to see her best friend Serena Williams play against Bianca Andreescu at the US Open finals.She was alone leaving Prince Harry and Baby Archiehome. We could see her coming to “Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens,” with much anticipation and hope for her BFF to win but it turned down in vain.
The much-awaited afternoon could see Meghan flaunting in a casual sassy blue denim J.Crew dress rounded off with a chic white cardigan from the same clothing line which she pulled it by wearing it over her shoulders. Well, we could also see another icon the former editor Anna Wintour of Vogue, amidst the tennis fans.
Though the Duchess was without her family she was escorted along by her security team as it is the royal protocol. This was a long trip post here being a mum but Meghan ensures to come all the way for her bestie. She was seated cheering from the royal box at Wimbledon during summer and she was seen previously wearing a dress from Serena’s couture.
The princess was all glowing and we could not see any symptoms of jet lag. Besides, it looks like she had a good night’s sleep, after embracing motherhood. She spent her morning doing yoga in a yoga class having her alone time. Serena Willams and Meghan’s friendship goes a long way back and the duchess has been saying that the tennis star is her” closest friend.”
The spark between Meghan and Serena Williams was very quick when they met at the flag football game playing together, clicking pictures and “chit-chatting not about tennis or acting, but about all the good old fashioned girly stuff,” said Meghan in a statement before. From there, their friendship bloomed and today they are inseparable.
