The Australian host turned actress Ruby Rose encountered an accident leaving her with a disc injury. She was rushed into the emergency as she was traumatized by the fact that she might end up getting paralyzed.
The actress filmed the incident and posted it on Instagram which created shock waves amidst fans.
She captioned saying: “To anyone asking why I let them video it. Did you not watch that Grey’s Anatomy episode where they left a towel in a patient??” Rose joked in the video caption. “Also I wanted to see what happens when we go under.”
She also added saying that: “To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck… A couple of months ago I was told I needed emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed.”
Further, she wrote saying that she had ruptured her discs during a fight sequence which went worse to damage to her spine. She was facing severe pain for a long time and couldn’t sense her arms after some time.
She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bray who operated her and said: “Thank you for everything you did and for allowing me to keep working and doing what I love” and“I am forever in your debt.”
It’s not new for Rose to go through surgeries as she underwent another in January 2018 when she was made “wheelchair-bound” after a back treatment for her spinal cord.
Ruby is making her entry into series through “Batwoman” which is set to premiere from October 6th.
