The killings in the movie take place in one of California’s towns. There is a masked killer who terrorizes and brutally murders some high school students in the town. The director of the film was inspired by the Florida serial killer, the “Gainsville Ripper,” whose actual name is Danny Rolling.
- From Hell
Johnny Depp plays the lead role in this psychological thriller film that was directed by Albert and Allen Hughes. The movie revolves around “Jack the Ripper,” who is a mysterious murderer who kills women whose bodies are later found within a mile’s radius of each other.

There’s a single mom who mistakenly believes she has found the man of her dreams. That man is accused of a chain of grisly murders. The movie is all about Ted Bundy (played by Zac Efron) who is the actual serial killer. The story is based on true murders committed by Ted Bundy, who defends himself in a trial (it was the first of the United States’ nationally televised ones).

The killer (played by John Cusack) is Robert Hansen, also known as “The Butcher Baker.” He primarily targets sex workers and turns them loose in the wilderness. He then uses a rifle and a knife and hunts them down.
