The Royals are back! Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, explored the African land during their three-day trip to Nigeria. The royals embarked on their journey with a visit to Lightway Academy in Abuja, where the couple received a heartful welcome from the students and joined the dance. Meghan stated, “We’re so honored to be with you. We have got to acknowledge those amazing dance moves! My husband was excited to jump up!”

They announced their partnership with the Archewell Foundation and the GEONCO Foundation and promised to provide mental health resources, and training to young women and men. Additionally, the foundation will supply menstrual products and educational services to Nigerian girls and young women.

This Nigerian trip is the first international tour for the couple after the renouncement of their royal titles. The Duchess exclaimed that the trip was so special to her as she is genetically 48% Nigerian.

Following these events, Harry visited the injured service members in the hospital. He sat beside the soldier with impaired eyesight and strengthened him with his words, “Get better, be strong.”

The next day, the Duke and Duchess attended the training session for the charity organization Nigeria: Unconquered. On the same day, the Duchess co-hosted a Women in Leadership event with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, director-general of the World Trade Organization. On Sunday, the royal couple went to a Basketball clinic with Giants of Africa, a cultural reception, and a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

Together, the couple made a lot of memories during their Nigeria visit.
