Pikachu goes live in action!

For all you Pokemon lovers out there, this summer calls for some big-time Pikachu love! The first ever live-action movie of the most adored yellow fur ball, Detective Pikachu, is all set to hit the theatres on May 10. Taking you to a tour of the Ryme city where people and Pokemon characters co-exist, the plot is set around Tim and Pikachu who put on their Sherlock hats to find Tim’s dad, Harry Goodman, who apparently goes missing.

Voiced by Ryan Renolds himself, we couldn’t have asked for a better Summer-time watch. Rob Letterman, who has already given us some mind-blowing animations with Goosebumps and Gulliver’s Travels, has written and directed this much-awaited Hollywood flick under Warner Bros’ Production house.

With a whole lot of generations from the Pokemon world and a super-cute Pikachu to untwine the mystery, guess there’s entertainment set to unfold like never before. Oh, yea, we also have Aladdin’s live-action feature film due for release in the same month; aren’t you already feeling nostalgic? 🙂
