Fans of the Netflix drama Stranger Things were in for some gossip this week. One of the show’s stars Noah Schnapp—who plays the closeted-gay character Will Byers—came out as gay in real life.
Schnapp made a funny TikTok video saying, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know’.” Schnapp has always deflected questions about his sexuality in interviews and has come out on his own terms.
In the show, Schnapp’s character Will is gay and in love with his best friend Mike—played by Finn Wolfhard.
Noah Schnapp is “shocked” with Nutella and its ingredients
The actor is a promoter for TBH and feels this way
The Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has been an advertiser for a vegan brand TBH that provides a vegan-friendly option for the hazelnut cocoa spread Nutella. According to Page Six, the actor was “shocked and brutally bummed out” about the ingredient list of the spread that is loved all over the world. Schnapp says the main ingredient of the spread is not hazelnut, but sugar- “Hazelnuts aren’t the main ingredient, and the amount of sugar alone made me realize I wasn’t doing myself any favors.” The use of palm oil in the spread of a larger amount also becomes a concern, as the production of palm oil leads to deforestation. Noah also mentions that he is on board for the destruction.
Noah is taking lessons on investment at the University of Pennsylvania at the Wharton School of Business. The actor also started a funding campaign for consumers to cut down Nutella through the app he was a part of the founding of Republic. He even has plans for “launching a venture capital fund in the next year.”
