This came as a sudden decision from Nikki Haley as everyone including President Trump was taken aback by the vacuum in her position. The 46-year old politician has been serving as US Ambassador to the United Nations for two years now until she announced her resignation in the Oval Office. She had previously served as South Carolina’s governor and has a great reputation. While Trump declared that he would soon find an efficient replacement within a span of two to three weeks, he also added if he’s not sure if he could find someone as competent as her in the world.
Though Nikki didn’t specifically reveal the reason on her decision to quit, she affirmed that going forward, she would definitely be campaigning for Trump.
“It’s been eight years of intense time, and I’m a believer in term limits. I don’t have anything set on where I’m going to go”, she told the journalists at the White House.
Trump even released a statement that Ivanka could actually be dynamite if she were to take the post, but that would be kind of nepotism if he’d done that. But, Ivanka subtly neglected her father’s statement in a simple tweet.
It is an honor to serve in the White House alongside so many great colleagues and I know that the President will nominate a formidable replacement for Ambassador Haley. That replacement will not be me.

She also posted a pic of herself and Jared with Ambassador Haley claiming how grateful she was to have her friendship and that it was a true blessing in their lives.
