Salt Lake Valley Hit with a 4.2 Magnitude Earthquake

Just four weeks after a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in Utah, there were tremors that hit the Salt lake valley Tuesday night. Though there wasn’t any damage to life or property, the quake left the locals in panic. Utah state officials have said that they will be investigating over the aftershocks of the main earthquake that took place back in March. The University of Utah Seismograph has confirmed that there will be more tremors in the state in the forthcoming weeks which would decrease with time.

In its press release, the UUSS has stated that there were 1247 aftershocks recorded in total from the March 18 earthquake with four tremors being 4.0 or larger and 39 being magnitude 3.0 or larger.
