Michaela Jaé Rodriguez is crowned as the first trans actress to win a Golden Globe. She made history by winning his honorable award. She earned an Emmy Nomination in the lead acting categories. The “Pose” star opened up about the latest achievement that helped give chance for “young LGBTQAI babies.” The 31-year-old actress bagged the Best Television Actress award for her role in the “Pose” show at the 79th Golden Globes.
The official Golden Globes Twitter account added a post, “This year’s drama series had us on the edge of our seats. Congratulations to @MjRodriguez7 for taking home the #GoldenGlobe for Best Television Actress — Drama Series.”
She surpassed Jennifer Aniston, Uzo Aduba, Elizabeth Moss, and Christine Baranski and win the best actress in the TV drama. Rodriguez happily posed on Instagram about her recent achievement and her caption reads, “OMG OMGGG!!!! @goldenglobes Wow! You talking about a sickening birthday present! Thank you!”
She continued: “This is the door that is going to open the door for many more young talented individuals. They will see that it is more than possible. They will see that a young Black Latina girl from Newark New Jersey who had a dream, to change the minds others would WITH LOVE. LOVE WINS. To my young LGBTQAI babies, WE ARE HERE the door is now open now reach the stars!!!!!”
