It was an emotional recollection of events for rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the courthouse recently. She took the stand to testify against fellow rapper Tory Lanez who is accused of shooting Megan in foot during an argument in 2020. They both were returning with their entourage after a party at Kris Jenner’s home in the Hollywood Hills.

Megan was visibly nervous when taking the stand and said, “I just don’t feel good… I can’t believe I have to come in here and do this,”. Lanez was also present in the courtroom and was taking notes.

Megan also claimed that Lanez offered her millions of dollars to keep quiet about the situation.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, has been charged with assault with a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm, and negligent discharge of a gun for shooting Megan in the feet. If convicted as charged, he faces more than 22 years in prison and deportation, as he’s a Canadian citizen.

Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, the American rapper popularly known as Meghan Thee Stallion, opens up about the robbery at her Los Angeles home. Two men broke into the rapper’s home by breaking a back door. The burglars reached the primary bedroom through the broken door and took away jewelry worth nearly $300,000 to $400,000. Cops are investing and trying to capture the actual culprits through surveillance footage of Meghan’s home and the neighbor’s.

She said: ‘The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight.’

‘On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets.’

The rapper went on to add: ‘I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important to me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.’

‘I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.’

She also said: ‘I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye-opener and a blessing in disguise.’

‘I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.’

Megan is said to get healed soon and as of Tory Lanez, he was arrested for having illegal weapons with him on Sunday while he was there for a Hollywood Hills party alongside Megan and Kylie Jenner.
