Here’s What Keke Palmer Has To Say About Single Parents

Keke Palmer, who recently delivered her boy baby, has made her first post childbirth on Instagram, expressing her emotional thoughts on single parents who handle it all by themselves. With a caption under the video, she spoke, “I ain’t gon’ lie, I’m gettin’ COOKED!”

She starts by stating, “I just came on here to say, if you’re a single parent, pull out your cake.”

Palmer expresses how she is amused with the strength and potential to deal with everything alone. As she says, “matter of fact, clip off your angel wings because I don’t know how you guys are doing it. And I really don’t want this to sound like pandering, or something like this, because I know there are a million and one reasons why somebody wants to be a single parent or has become a single parent.”

People turn into single parents after they either “lost somebody,” or due to the fact they “don’t want to deal with somebody” or it is a pure “choice.”

After entering into parenthood and understanding the responsibilities taken over Keke say, “but when it comes to raising a kid, I’ve already learned in these short few days that it takes a village.” She also appreciates those carrying their duties gracefully, including those in the circle she knows, “and sometimes that’s a privilege. And I just want anybody out there that’s a single parent that’s been doing this—friends of mine, people that I don’t know, family members of mine—really in my heart. It brings tears to my eyes. I am just truly, profoundly impressed.”
