Remembering Good Times Star Ja’Net DuBois!

Ja’ Net DuBois who portrayed Willona Woods in “Good Times” and who also did the theme song for “The Jeffersons” recently passed away.

The song she created “Movin on Up” gave an enthralling introduction to the season 10 of the series.

Further, Bernadette Stains who portrayed Thelma Evans in “Good Times” and was very close to DuBois stated she came to know about her demise on Tuesday.

She stated that: “She used to keep us laughing all the time,” warmly recalling her friend. “She was very, very talented. If she wasn’t singing … she was creating a character to make us laugh.”

Besides the cops from Glendale, C.A stated that they had received the information of DuBois on Monday. She passed away from natural causes as per Sgt. Dan Stubbs.

Stains also said that DuBois was very healthy 2 weeks back at an occasion and her date of birth was always kept under wraps. She also added that: “Nobody really knows,” said Stanis, who recalled telling DuBois, “’ Oh, you’re so lucky. Nobody knows your age, girl!’”

Apart from DuBois1970’s “Good Times” she had won 2 Emmy Awards for voice over in WB series “The PJs.”
