The first trailer for the upcoming biopic Ford v Ferrari trailer has been released
The movie, based on real-life events is directed by James Mangold of Logan fame. Based on a true story, it tells the epic rivalry between Ford and Ferrari, and how they came out victorious over Ferrari during the Le Mans 24 hour race of 1966.
This win was one of the greatest victories for American Automotive industry, trumping the Italian counterpart and pioneer of Automobile engineering, Ferrari.
Matt Damon will portray Carol Shelby, who designed the Ford GT 40, and Christian Bale is playing Ken Miles, the British racer who drove the car in the 1966 Le Mans race.
Ford v Ferrari will hit theatres on November 15.
