However, in July 2021, Swift and Jack Antonoff were given official co-writing credits on Rodrigo’s song “Deja Vu” due to alleged similarities with Swift’s “Cruel Summer.”
Rodrigo later confirmed that the song was heavily inspired by “Cruel Summer” and added indie rocker St. Vincent to the songwriter roster on “Deja Vu” as well.
