Just when we were bowled over by Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal of the ‘Joker’, DC Comics took us by surprise by announcing the arrival of ‘Joker/ Harley: Criminal Sanity’. The Black Label comic which will probably release on Jan 1, 2020, depicts Joker as a serial killer haunting the streets of Gotham city. And guess who’s on the search mission to find him? It’s none other than his crazy love interest Harley Quinn who will be a forensic psychiatrist and criminal investigative profiler solving the mystery.
Kami Garcia has drafted the nail-biting script while artists Mike Mayhew, Mico Suayan, and Jason Badower have rendered a new dimension to the puzzling Joker who will now be a serial killer. The psychopathic plot gets racy when Harley finds her roommate killed. This is when she begins her hunt for Joker and will possibly fall in love with the killer himself. But, we gotta wait until the book hits the stores this New Year. The creepy storyline gets creepier with the interesting twist of events and the intriguing clues Joker leaves behind in the crime scene after each murder.
