Alligator Ate Drug Overdosed Florida Man

The body was recovered in pieces while the foot and hand were retrieved from the reptile’s stomach.

A Florida Man, Michael Ford, 45, found eaten by an alligator on June 27. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was already killed because of Methamphetamine intoxication “Drug Overdose” and then ripped apart and eaten by an alligator. The body was recovered in pieces while the foot and hand were retrieved from the reptile’s stomach.

“It is my opinion that Michael Glenn Ford II died as a result of methamphetamine intoxication,” District Medical Examiner Stephen Nelson wrote in an autopsy report obtained by NBC News on Thursday. “The manner of death is an accident.”

He was found nude and the clothes are not recovered anywhere from the scene.

According to the Commission, the alligator was nearly 12ft long and weighed approximately 450lbs, with an autopsy of the animal revealing one of Ford’s hands and one of his feet were inside of its stomach.

Apparently, it is an employee at the Mosaic phosphate mine alerted police about the dead body, although it was unclear as to why the 45-year-old had been on the grounds in the first place.

Say No To Drugs! RIP Ford.
