Tyrese Gibson is facing serious legal heat. An arrest warrant was issued for him after one of his four Cane Corso dogs allegedly mauled a neighbor’s dog—a small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel—in his Atlanta area neighborhood.
According to police, complaints about Gibson’s dogs running loose had been filed multiple times in recent months. On September 18, the neighbor let their dog into their yard, but shortly afterward found it gravely injured. The dog was rushed to a veterinary hospital but did not survive.

Authorities had already issued a search warrant for Gibson’s property on September 22, but when officers arrived, neither he nor the dogs were present.
On October 3, Gibson surrendered to authorities and was booked on an animal cruelty charge in Fulton County, Georgia. He was released shortly after posting a $20,000 bond.
His legal team says he’s “cooperating fully” with the case and expressed deep condolences to the family of the deceased pet. They also state that Gibson rehomed the dogs involved.
