Will.i.am has collaborated with Honeywell to produce the ultimate first-ever digital facemask of the century. Here is everything you need to know about its specs and pricing.
The Xupermask prototype was designed by Jose Fernandez of Ironhead Studio, which Edna Mode of Marvel had earlier designed the costumes for Amazing Spiderman, The Avengers X-Men Reunited.
The common problem of mask wearers was earbuds falling and fogging up of eyewear. Thus, when Will.i.am thought, “Let’s make a mask for the traveler,” he included the following specs in the Xupermask that is all set to launch on 8th April for $299.
The initial product is available in two sizes with two color schemes: white/grey/orange and black/black/orange. The carrying case is accompanied by three month supply of HEPA air filters, Type-C USB cable for charging the device.
Will.i.am added that “The work that I do in the inner city, teaching kids computer science and robotics and engineering, this is confirmation that — though there are not that many people that look like them in the tech field — good ideas are needed. So this partnership means a lot, not only to me but to the 1,200 kids that I support in the hood that I come from.” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
