White House Confirms One Positive Case among Its Staff

Among the 19,000 people who have been tested positive for Corona Virus, the White House has recently announced that one of its staff has acquired the infection. It has also made clear that both the President and the Vice President hadn’t been in close proximity to the staff. “This evening we were notified that a member of the Office of the Vice President tested positive for the Corona Virus”, told Kate Miller on Friday.

With a death toll of 275, the global pandemic is spreading fast in the US. Though not entirely, several states have closed their borders to non-citizens and non-residents. An average of 300 new cases are being identified every day and people have been advised to stay at home and self-quarantine themselves. Social distancing is the best thing to do right now as community spreading could only lead to more people acquiring the virus.
