The ex-soccer player and now actor shared a smiling picture of the way back in a car with one of Ireland’s most popular songs ‘She Moved Through the Fair.’
Posting the picture of him and his wife the 55 yr old ringed into his anniversary after Tanya’s demise.
Quoting few lines from the song he captioned the picture: “Each night my young love comes to me.”
“My true love comes in, she enters so softly, her feet make no sound, she kneels down beside me and this she did say; ‘It will not be long love until our special day.’
“She lifts up my spirit and we dance through the hay, laughing and crying to get through the day.”
“Then we go our way onward as we move through the fair like swans in the evening that swim over the lake.”
Soon his fans flooded with consoling comments and even former football star Robbie Keane and Jamie O’ Hara left their comments with a string of emojis.
One of the followers said: “She’s right there. You just can’t see her. Bless you xxx” and yet another wrote: “Keep strong brother.”
A third one commented: “Vinnie, that’s beautiful you’re a strong brave man”
His late wife passed away after battling skin cancer for 6 years on July 6th, 2019.
Vinnie also said that he still weeps over her every day after she dies yet has stayed for her.
