U.S. included in the list of dangerous countries for journalists!

It wasn’t just the death of Jamal Khashoggi, an American columnist, that threw light on murders relating to journalists but also the killings of writers and reporters around the globe that drew world attention. Criticizing politicians and business giants is part and parcel of a media person, which at times, puts him in deep hatred from the concerned people.

In a report from a free-press advocacy group, close to 63 journalists have been killed in the U.S. this year. These crime stats have made America enter the threatening list of countries. With a 15% increase compared to last year’s numbers, the world’s largest economy seems to be in a state of terror for its journalists.

Apart from the United States, according to Reporters Without Borders, an NGO based in Paris, Afghanistan, Syria, and Mexico are the world’s most dangerous countries for journalists to work.
