Colorado football stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are already winning hearts on the field—and now, it seems Hollywood is calling their names too. The buzz began when Kareem Grimes, known for his role as Preach in the hit CW drama All American, revealed that he’d love to see the dynamic duo guest-star on the show.

“They’ve got charisma, they’ve been in front of cameras, and with a little coaching, they’ll thrive,” Grimes told TMZ Sports. He’s not wrong—Sanders and Hunter run their own YouTube channels and are no strangers to being in the spotlight. Whether it’s breaking records or breaking down game tape online, these two are media naturals.

Grimes even expanded his dream cast to include Ray-Ray McCloud, a current wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons and a self-proclaimed superfan of the series. With the show recently wrapping up its seventh season, Grimes seems hopeful for some fresh NFL energy on set.

Adding to the conversation, former NFL wide receiver Devale Ellis, who now acts full-time and has appeared on BET’s Sistas, dropped a few names of his own. “Watch out for Bijan Robinson and KhaDarel Hodge,” Ellis said, tipping the hat to more Atlanta-based talent.

It’s not the first time football and Hollywood have intersected, but this time, it feels different. As college athletes gain more media exposure through NIL deals, YouTube content, and social media storytelling, the gap between athlete and entertainer is shrinking fast.

Could Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter be the next breakout stars on screen? If Grimes gets his way, don’t be surprised if these gridiron heroes are trading their cleats for scripts very soon.
