Warner Bros. is filing a copyright claim over Donald Trump for using the score of the movie “Dark Knight Rises”.
Donald Trump released a video on Twitter, boastfully announcing his reelection campaign for 2020, and people were quick to notice that he used the famous Hans Zimmer track ‘Why do we fall’ as his background score.
Following the claims of the music score having a strong resemblance to the famous track (if not ripped off from Dark Knight Rises), Warner Bros. has filed a copyright infringement complaint to have the video taken down who own all the creative rights of the movie.
Twitter was quick to pull the plug and banned the video from streaming online.
“The use of Warner Bros.’ score from The Dark Knight Rises in the campaign video was unauthorized,” a spokesperson said. “We are working through the appropriate legal channels to have it removed.”
