Actor Tom Hanks is winning hearts again with the launch of his coffee brand—Hanx For Our Troops. Why? Because 100% of the profits go to our veterans! Earlier this week, the Oscar winner announced the launch via his Instagram handle.
“We saw Hanx as a way to support Veterans and military families, as 100% of the profits go to organizations that have proven to be of great aid to those who have served our country,” Hanks, 66, said in a press release. “Good products for good reason.” He also added that the Hanx coffee website features Veteran Service Organizations so that anyone can help the veterans directly.
In his 40-year Hollywood career, Tom Hanks has played many roles as a war veteran. From acting in Saving Private Ryan, and Forrest Gump, and producing Band of Brothers, Hanks has a huge filmography of war films. He has also publicly shown his support for the troops and veterans by attending numerous military ceremonies.
