The Upcoming Matrix 4 Saga’s Cast is on an Eight Weeks Extension

The star cast of the yet to be a sequel of “The Matrix” series has made an 8-week extension deal with the actors to be on hold till July 6th as per sources.

As per reports Warner Bros. is likely to go back on floors filming by the beginning of July. Earlier the film kick-started its production in February in San Francisco prior to shifting to Berlin in the middle of March.

Unlike other film shoots this was also stopped due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

The cast includes, Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett-Smith. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas and it is helmed by Lana Wachowski of Warner Bros.

The storyline is still a secret for the series which goes off the rule that the people who live in reality are actually in a ‘computer simulation controlled by latest machines’ which gets energy from imprisoned humans.

Back in the 1999 movie Keanu portrays the lead character Neo who is ordained by the prophecy to save the entire human race post he wakes up from his simulation.

The last 3 sequels “The Matrix” from 1999, “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions” from 2003 had been a huge success and garnered a whopping sum of $1.6 billion worldwide.

Further “The Matrix Revolutions” was one of the first to hit the screens at the same time and hour in all the top nations.

The current sequel is set to release in 2021 but it is still unclear on which date it will be premiered.
