With armed forces at the entrance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi shows off automatic weapons and hand sanitizers. Here are a few who were thinking who were back to their homeland Unites States.
The U.S nationals had arrived in Kenya to enjoy a safari when they were captivated by a silly ad that said it had a reasonable flight. Since spending a huge sum of money was constrain and as animal lovers, they fantasized to see them.
Their wish was to have a look at all the wild animals in the world in one place. And the country of Kenya was the ideal place for it. But after Corona, everything has been halted as the deadly virus has been spreading like wildfire.
So the nationals were stranded in Kenya as the flights were canceled and when they tried booking continuously and when the U.S government failed to rescue them. This was because it was not organized, slow and inconsistent.
Though stuck in another country does not be like losing something but when a nation like the U.S fails to come forward for its citizens it is quite disappointing. One of the individuals quoted: “How bad could it possibly get in two weeks?” speaking on the pandemic outbreak.
I hope this COVID-19 gets controlled soon and life comes back to normal.
