This 19th April completes 3 yrs post-Aaron Hernandez death and in memory of him, his lady love Shayanna Jenkins shared it on Instagram. Shayanna shares a daughter with Aaron who is 3 yrs old and is named Avielle. She had Avielle post her engagement with Aaron.

She had shared a throwback of Aaron holding the newborn Avielle and captioned it as: “The love between father and daughter knows no distance,” she wrote. “We think of you today. May you rest in peace and continue to watch over us!” along with the hashtag ‘Forever In Our Hearts.’

Hernandez was given life imprisonment in 2015 after he was charged with killing Odin Lloyd in 2013. While he was on trial he was also convicted for a double murder in 2012 but was free from those charges in 2017. It was then after which he was found hanging in the prison. Aaron was in a relationship with Shayanna from 2007 and his daughter was born in 2012.

During the beginning of the year, Aaron and Shyanna’s life were brought back to limelight post the documentary on Netflix called “Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez.”

The series revealed Aaron’s identity of being bisexual and so it pushed Shyanna to answer whether she knew about it when she was in love with the footballer.

Speaking in an interview she was heartbroken when she spoke on Aaron’s bisexuality and said: “If he did feel that way, or if he felt the urge, I wish that I was told,” Shayanna admitted. “I wish he would have told me because I would not have loved him any differently. I would have understood. It’s not shameful and I don’t think anybody should feel shameful of who they are inside, regardless of who they love.”
