After 6 days of her younger brother Benjamin’s death, Riley shared that: “mornings are the hardest.” The 27 yr old Benjamin born to Lisa Marie Presley 52 and grandchild of legendary pop icon Elvis Presley committed suicide on July 12th with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Riley who is an actress continued that: “I forget you’re gone,” prior to saying more about her sadness in her Instagram post.
“I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop,” she added. “A pain that’s new to me. You. There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of. Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wildman. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world.”
“I hope you give me the strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart,” she heartbreakingly went on. “I hope you give me the strength to eat. I hope you’re cradled in love. I hope you feel my love. I hope you feel god. You are a god. I can’t believe you’ve left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again.”
Although the L.A County reports stated that they could not identify him and said that an unidentified body was found on July 12th Sunday at 6.30 am in Calabasas, C.A.
Reports said that he was “Suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso,” and ‘that he was “pronounced dead at the scene.”’ Lisa was “completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated,” as per their spokesperson. They also said: “[But, she’s] trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley.”
