Attitude can be quite complicated when things are not under good circumstances amidst ongoing pandemic and civil unrest. Now the Roundtable show has switched to virtual conversations and has changed from serious to crass and funny.
The show saw Ricky Gervias from After Life shooting the first question and one could imagine how it would have kick-started.
He began saying: “I want it to go on forever — not the unrest, the lockdown,” he cracked when asked what he had learned about himself during the recent period. “It suits me. I’m glad I’m not there in person. I like this, who’s next?”
This was proceeded by an ample of funny conversations back and forth with five more comedians Ramy’s Ramy Youssef, Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson, Silicon Valley’s Kumail Nanjiani, Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy and of course Ricky. For an approx of an hour, they all discussed and candidly spoke politics, the importance of comedy for the hour, and why a “thirsty shirtless” is not to be laughed about.
The show went on to witness the host asking questions to the five and them giving a funny and epic response back.
