Tom Zickler, a German film producer who teamed with star actor-director Til Schweiger and produced some of the greatest German films over the last two decades died at 55. Studio Babelsberg, the German backlot with whom Zickler set up a production joint venture, Traumfabrik Babelsberg in 2017, confirmed Zickler died Monday after a brief illness.
