Police detained 10 Teenagers for playing PUBG in India

Following the ban announced by Maharashtra’s local state government, police arrested 10 teenagers for playing the popular online video game, PUBG (PlayerUnkown’s BattleGrounds).

We all know that China is the only nation that banned this addictive game. Well, now India is on the verge of banning this game across the country. The main reason cited is that the youngsters and children are distracted from their education and facing physiological changes with increased aggression and stress after playing this game.

Though the arrested were later released with just a warning, the news went viral alarming the others not to play this game.

Here is a thought!

It’s inevitable for any technology to avoid cons while having so many pros. However, the million dollar question is, aren’t our education system and social institutions supposed to prepare us to be mature and wise? Does imposing ban exhibit the failure of the system we’re living in?

Let me know your thought process…
