The 24-year-old comedian Pete Davidson has deleted his Instagram account after throwing shade at his current girlfriend Kim’s ex, Kanye. Davidson returned to Instagram last week for the first time since 2018, who had quit the social media app to take care of his mental health.
Davidson recently digs Kanye by posting a video clip from the 1982 film, The King of Comedy. In the post, De Niro’s character says, “It’s better to be a king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime. Fans interpreted it as a reference to Kanye’s public feud. Kanye fans took the comment section to roast the Saturday Night Live comedian. Later on the same day, Davidson deleted his account.
The now-deleted Instagram account had 1.9 million followers. Davidson followed Kadarshian, Sebastian Stan, and Staten Island FerryHawks. A close source from Davidson says that he didn’t delete his account because of Kanye West. He deleted his account because Davidson got mixed responses after his first post that made him delete the account.
Davidson has many projects lined up and it seems like he is busy concentrating on work. The SNL comedian wanted to focus only on the positive things in life, which is the main reason to delete his account. Kanye bragged on Instagram by posting the picture of the deleted account of Pete Davidson with the caption “Run Skete off the gram Tell your mother I changed your name for life.”
