The legendary actor and Oscar winner Sidney Poitier’s relatives go missing after the horrific Hurricane Dorian stated his nephew. As per Jeffrey, they are clueless and they are yet to confirm which includes his sister Barbara and her children who are in the Bahamas.
His kin is amongst the thousands who are been searched after the calamity struck the islands. Jeff stated: “We are still looking for and waiting for them to appear soon. It has us all worried. We are trying to reach out to them using every means available to us but we are not hearing anything. We are deeply worried.”
Besides, an approx of 500 is related to the Poitiers and they have not heard from any of them. Further, almost 70,000 have lost their homes and are in grave need of help to protect their lives.
On the other hand, there have piles of dead bodies and people are witnessing the “smell of death.” The bodies found till that day were 43 in the Abaco Islands and 8 in Great Bahamas but as per the official confirmation from the Prime Minister, it can go still more.
The people there showed their outrage as the Bahamian government is not acting fast. But the Defence office has stated that they will be sending a Royal Navy ship to rescue them.
