The most-celebrated Talk Show host recently started trending on Twitter with rumors concerning sex trafficking. Gossips about Oprah’s mansion in Boca Ranton being raided and the 66-year old TV producer being arrested for the same also started going rounds on the social media. Actors Tom Hanks and Gayle King were also linked in the matter for no good reason.
To shut the bogus reports those were being spread across social platforms, Oprah Winfrey posted a tweet that read, “Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE. Haven’t been raided, or arrested. Just sanitizing and self-distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody”.
