The Brazillian footballer and once a Barcelona star Neymar has been on a tug with the former team as they had failed to pay his bonus.Currently playing for PSG, he was seen at the El Prat airport to be present for his case where the “La Liga team has to owe Neymar a sum of 26 million euros ($30.69 million).”
On the contrary, Barcelona has sued him with 8.5 million Euros for the reimbursement he had caused for the bonus they paid him in November 2016. They also stated that he moved to PSG while his agreement with Barca still remained till 2021.
The Brazilian had scored about 150 in 4 seasons and had received 2 La Liga, 3 Copa del Rey and also Champions trophy.
Besides, the lists of trouble are enormous from his side where he was asked by the High court to appear with his connection to scam and corruption with his transfer from boyhood club to Barcelona in 2016, but he was not guilty and the case was opened again besides charges being dismissed.
In addition, he was charged for raping a model in Paris back in June. The case was dismissed since he stated that it was mutual and there was no proper proof to prove it.
Further, he missed playing 5 matches as he was persistently approached by his former team. But PSG did not accept as Barcelona refused to offer the sum they asked for.
