U.K’s Prime Minister in trouble?
The most controversial politician turned Prime Minister of UK Boris Johnson made headlines yet again. It was his business talk in New York which angered many. In the conference, he made derogatory comments about the Supreme Court. He said that: “There’s been a court case in our country this morning which I think one or two of you may have picked up.”
He further added: “I just want to say to everyone watching back home that for the avoidance of doubt, I have the highest regard for our judiciary,” he went on. “But I must say I strongly disagree with this judgment,” and his government will ensure not to discourage the “will of the people” and saving Brexit.
Besides, he made a witty statement that: “we will need a Queen’s Speech to set out what we are going to do, and I think frankly that is what the people … want to see.”
“My heart lifts when I come to New York be it verdicts or anything,” he went on to add, prior to his actual speech.
To his controversial speech many politicians in U.K raised their voice that he should step down from his position. In favor of the Supreme Court, John Major the previous Conservative Prime Minister slammed the current PM for his awful behavior.
He stated sarcastically: “No Prime Minister must ever treat the monarch or Parliament in this way again.” Adding to this John said “This was a case that should never have had to be considered, and it gave me no pleasure to be pitted against a Government and Prime Minister of my own Party.”
To all the allegations stated Boris has finally broken his silence and said that whatever the Supreme Court has done is Unlawful. He said to the media in New York: “I strongly disagree with this decision of the Supreme Court,” “I have the utmost respect for our judiciary; I don’t think this was the right decision.”
Besides, he also stated that U.K would come out from European Union in the coming days and “The main thing is we’re going to get on and deliver Brexit on October 31,” he added. “The claimants, in this case, are determined to frustrate (Brexit) and to stop that.”
On the whole, the present PM had a tough time since he took the office and now that his own party is going through its downfall after the verdict. So, those who are against Boris including the opposition and as well from his own party have made their stands and are hoping for the legislation to take the necessary measures as soon as possible.
The issue is all over the news which is awkward for a politician as it destroys his career but this how witty the politics is. This situation will end up Johnson with just two choices one is to negotiate and do peace talks with the parliament before October 31st or be tough as a Brexit.
As per the scenario Borris should be saying that everybody is opposing him including the judicial. If in case he is given an opportunity to renew his political life in Brexit then he might turn towards his opponents and frame that they have bribed Brexit.
Both are at uncertain but this is the case of Brexit today in Britain.
