Grammys’ profit skyrockets, boosts sales of performers by 480%.

According to billboard, the 2019 Grammy Awards yielded bumper profits for the tunes performed according to Nielsen Music. The songs performed on the show collectively tallied a 480 percent increase in download sales on Feb.10, as compared to Feb. 9, according to initial sales reports to Nielsen Music. Combined, the songs performed on the show sold 71,000 downloads on the day of the show — up from 12,000 on the previous day.

2019 Grammy Performances Yield 480% Sales Gain for Lady Gaga, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, H.E.R. & More

The biggest increases from the previous day were:

  • Kacey Musgraves’ “Rainbow” (4,000; a whopping 9430% increase)
  • Brandi Carlile’s “The Joke” (8,000; increased by 2771%)
  • Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” (surged to 14,000 up 229 percent from its 4,000 sold a day earlier)

Lady Gaga and Bradley Copper’s Shallow reportedly had the highest number of sales in this year’s Grammy.

Grammy as a cash generating machine will definitely lure more elite performers to make money as they stand to gain huge returns. Or you could be like Drake, dissing the crap out of Grammy.
