Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson welcomed a new Phelps this new year. The Olympic swimmer and the former Miss California shared this happy news by updating a post on social media.
The new Phelps – Nico Michael Phelps is a fourth addition to their family as the couple already has three sons. The swimmer penned an exciting note on the announcement of baby no.4, “@mrs.nicolephelps and I wanna welcome Nico Michael Phelps to the world. Born on 1/16,”
“We’re so blessed to be given a 4th child. We’re now a family of 6!”
Michael Phelps announced the news on Instagram with a picture where the couple proudly look at their baby boy, while Michael holds him in his arms. The couple couldn’t be happier as their family has expanded again.
Though Nicole is the only girl at home, she enjoys her days with her four boys and the family calls her “Queen of the household.” However, in the opinion of Michael Phelps, Nicole does not seem to have any problems with that!
The sporty couple met each other at the 2007 ESPY Awards and started dating since then. Later, the couple got engaged in 2015 and then got hitched in 2016 in three separate ceremonies.
