Some of the huge firms that have got loans are the ‘The Apatow’ The Gersh Agency and Verve Talent & Literary Agency were few amongst them that have received from the federal government’s Paycheck Protection Program as per the sources list that was announced on Monday by the Small Business Administration.
Gersh had got a loan for worth a sum ranging from $5 million and $10 million whereas Verve had taken a loan between $350,000 and $1 million. Yet another firm Agency for the Performing Arts had got a sum of $2 million-$4 million whereas Brillstein Entertainment Partners received $1 million-$2 million.
When it came to Entertainment Industry Foundation it took a loan of $1 million-$2 million and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts L.A. had received $150,000 and $350,000. The list goes on as several other prominent firms have got millions as loans.
Further, The American Film Institute, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, the Motion Picture & Television Fund, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the Grammy Museum Foundation had also got loans.
Besides this many production firms were also seen getting loans for their projects which have been halted due to the ongoing pandemic.
