Priscilla Presley made a statement after the legal chaos following the death of her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley “I loved Elvis very much as he loved me. Lisa is a result of our love. For anyone to think anything differently would be a travesty of the family legacy and would be disrespectful of what Elvis left behind in his life.” The trust of her deceased daughter has led to legal issues, and now she is pointing her statements to a stranger, who she did not mention. All we could know is that Presley is not happy with the person’s statements and is disappointed in speaking on behalf of their family or the happenings. 

“This person is not a representative of Elvis or our family. Please allow us the time we need to work together and sort this out. Please ignore ‘the noise.’ As I have always been there for Elvis’ legacy, our family and the fans, I will continue to forge a pathway forward with respect, honesty, dignity, integrity and love.”

Emotional lines of Riley were read by Priscilla Presley

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, was given an emotional send-off to her grave. She was right next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who was lost to suicide. 

Priscilla Presley said, “I’m going to read something that my granddaughter wrote for all of you. And this says it all.” She continued to read the words written by Riley, 

“The old soul — I have no idea how to put my mother into words. Truth is there and too many. Lisa Marie Presley was an icon, a role model, a superhero to many people all over the world, But mama was my icon, my role model and my super hero…even now I can’t get across everything there is to be understood and known about her. But as she always said, I’ll do my best.” She continued to read lines of a poem written by her granddaughter, which had a gist of her daughter Lisa’s life. Presley ended her speech with, 

“That says it all. And thank you all for being here. Navarone, her brother, and the family and all of you. Our hearts are broken Lisa, we all love you.”
