Latest Update on 2020 Tokyo Olympics

The 2020 Olympics that was scheduled to start on July 24 in Tokyo, Japan, is now uncertain.

The 2020 Olympics that was scheduled to start on July 24 in Tokyo, Japan, is now uncertain. The world is making every effort to contain the spread of the Corona Virus that first started in Wuhan, China, and conducting international games would be the last thing people want to witness in the time of crisis. Though the International Olympic Committee hasn’t made any official announcements regarding canceling the event for the year, it is pretty much clear that the 2020 Olympics wouldn’t start on the scheduled date.

“The parameters going forward have not been determined, but the Games are not going to start on July 24, that much I know”, a member of the IOC said in a statement.
