Kirk Douglas has been celebrating his previous birthdays in a lavish manner. But now the buzz is that he has requested his son Michael Douglas to have a simple dinner with loved ones for his 103rd birthday.
Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel’s show Michael stated that: “Well, it’s like, so 100. Okay, so he was 100. A big birthday, a big birthday. The trouble is, when you’re 100, you don’t really want a big birthday. “I threw a big party for him, it was great. 101. You know, “Okay, let’s have a nice party.” “Again? I don’t …” “Dad, it’s 101 years old. You have to have a birthday.” Okay … 102 …”
He also added saying: “so now he’s begging me, he’s got tears down his eyes,’ the 75-year-old continued. ‘Let’s just have dinner, the family together. Bring the kids.” You heard the man, Michael. Bring the kids with you to a peaceful dinner.”
Michael has a son Cameron from his former wife Diandra Luker and Dylan and Carys with his now-wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. Further, Cameron earlier said that he started using drugs when his father cheated his mom Diandra. He was in taking crystal meth which he used in the form of bath salts.
Cameron went down his memory lane and said he was put in a boarding school in his teenage were he took Marijuana and said that he “felt the pressure lift” and was feeling alone.
Due to this he was suspended from his school and this lead to more aggression and he started in taking cocaine in his neck and ribcage. Michael stated that: “My career was first. My career came before my family. My marriage was not great. ‘I should’ve focused more on my family but that’s hard to say when you’re in the midst of a career when in your own mind you’re stepping out of your father’s shadow, trying to create a life of your own.”
