Hello Internet, It’s Keanu Reeves all over again.
It’s final. Keanu Reeves will be reprising his role as Neo in the next Matrix movie.

The actor also said in an interview that his character in the Matrix 4 movie requires motion capture.
“I’ve done a fair bit of motion capture. I did it in the Matrix films. So, to start doing motion capture for Johnny, it was all very familiar to me,” Reeves said. He then continued by pointing out what made the two projects different.
“The only difference I think, technologically, was how close they were going to real-time review. But creatively it was very familiar, in the sense of starting a library of gesture and the toolbox let’s say for the animators to work with for the character,” Reeves concluded.
And more than that, most of the original stars from the trilogy have been roped in like Carrie-Anne Moss. We won’t see Laurence Fishburne starring as Morpheus as his role will be reprised by a younger version. Lana Wachowski will co-star, write, and direct the sequel.
Warner Bros. will once again team with Village Roadshow for the project. In a statement on Tuesday, Warner Bros. said “We could not be more excited to be re-entering The Matrix with Lana. Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in The Matrix universe.”
We can’t wait for more Keanu Reeves’ action and obviously his memes.
We did’t know that Warner Bros. would drop a sweet surprise like this at a time when we were aching for more action from Keanu Reeves. Hell, we even tipped him to be the next Logan.
We can’t wait.We can’t be more happy.
