A super long list of nominations for the 62nd Grammys had been released on Wednesday paving a bright future for fresh talents, lost fame, and legendary musicians. Among an enormous lot of tracks released last year is ‘Sucker’ by the Jonas brothers, and guess, what? The song that topped the charts has secured its place in the Grammys under the Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance Category and we are excited than ever.

The last time they were nominated for the most prestigious music award ceremony was a decade ago in 2009. This was sure a joyous moment for Nick as he took to Instagram to post how emotional he and his brothers are for the nomination.  ‘This isn’t just a band, this is our family. There were some really tough moments that had to happen for us to get to this place but it’s right where we are supposed to be. This has truly been our greatest year yet’, Nick had poured his heart out.

I’m truly blown away. A year ago we had just put the finishing touches on the Album before I flew to India to marry the love of my life. Soon after that Sucker was released and went straight to number 1 on the hot 100. Then the album, Happiness Begins went to number 1 on the @billboard top 200. Soon after that a platinum album and a 70+ date tour in front the truly greatest fans in the world… and to cap it all off in less than 2 weeks of me and @priyankachopra one year anniversary, a Grammy nomination for the song that has changed me and my brothers lives forever. Thank you to each and every person who believed in us. Thank you @ryantedder @louisbellmusic @frankdukes and the entire team at @philymack and @republicrecords you are family. See you all on January 26th!

With just 2 weeks behind Nick-Priyanka’s first wedding anniversary, there couldn’t have been a better time to get nominated than now. It’s never easy to come up with a super-hit comeback video song that made its way to number 1 position in the hot 100 and the Jonas trio made it happen. Not just this, they also made us feel merrily nostalgic and that’s one of the reasons they absolutely deserve the nomination.
