Jonah Hill the popular name amidst “Superbad” fans are considered for Batman villain! Yes if reports are true the 35 yr old star is on the initial talks with Warner Bros. to stare as “The Riddler,” as per sources.
Besides giving voice over for Lego Movie as Green Lantern, the batman reloaded version from Bruce Wayne Roost would give Hill a benchmark in his career if he is part of the superhero film.
Hill will be sharing screen space with the “Twilight” sensation Robert Pattinson who is on board replacing Ben Affleck along with “Westworld” star Jeffery Wright who is playing Commissioner Gordon replacing JK Simmons in the comic-based story.
Being an academy awards nominee twice for “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Moneyball,” Hill has fit into the shoes of the most sought after production house. The character of Edward Nygma otherwise called “The Riddler” was portrayed previously by Jim Carrey in 1995 in “Batman Forever” helmed by Joel Schumacher.
But Carrey’s acting with his usual facial expression and humor was not much appreciated among fans. However, the comic star expressed his interest in a talk show in 2014 that given a chance again he would like to “to work in the new, graphic novel versions of the movie.”
Despite Jim’s unlikely wish to the film, the new version of Batman production will be lead by Matt Reeves. The movie is set to hit theatres in 2021.
