Taking to Instagram on Monday the Aquaman star shook his fans by posting a video of shaving his head to convey a message – avoid using single-use plastics. In the viral video, Jason Momoa expressed his concerns stating, “I’m here in Hawaii right now, and just seeing things in our ocean, it’s just so sad. Please, anything you can do to eliminate single-use plastics in your lives. Help me, plastic bottles are ridiculous… we’re going to keep going — oh, man. Love you guys. Aloha.”
Momoa has always been passionate about conserving and protecting nature. The Hawaiian native is worried about the number of plastics washing ashore every day. His commitment to reducing single-use plastics is so intense that he even launched a water company named Mananalu that provides water in aluminum bottles. This is not Momoa’s first plea, in past, he has partnered with other brands and participated in environment protection forums to raise awareness about the usage of single-use plastics.
