Idina Menzel brought Elsa from Frozen on the Oscar stage this Sunday night! The stunning performance of hers and nine other women from different parts of the world sent strong vibes of ‘Unity in Diversity’ and swayed the audience ‘Into the Unknown’ mesmerizingly.
The actress and songstress appeared in an angelic white strapless ballgown and stage was an impeccable work of art resonating the theme of diamonds from the ‘Frozen’ movie itself.
Joining Menzel after the first chorus were Anna Buturlina (voice of Elsa on the film’s Russia release), Carmen Garcia Saenz (Latin America), Gisela (Spain), Kasia Łaska (Poland), Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg (Denmark), Takako Matsu (Japan), Lisa Stokke (Norway), Willemijn Verkaik (Germany) and Gam Wichayanee (Thailand). All of the women sang in their native languages but came together as one powerful, unified chorus for the song’s big finish.
