Front Runners of Emmys 2022: Who Will Win?

The predictions and expectations of the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards

Front Runners Of Emmys 2022: Who Will Win?

From Succession to The White Lotus, the highly-anticipated 74th Primetime Emmy Awards is almost here! With the star-studded event happening on September 12, we are here to brush up on the key nominations and the potential wins.

Most Nominations

The nominations list came out as expected, with the drama series HBO’s Succession leading the race with 25 nominations—including the Outstanding Drama category. It is closely followed by Ted Lasso, with a remarkable Best Comedy nomination, and The White Lotus, including Best Limited Series, both series bagging a solid 20 nominations.

Other significant nominations come from fan-favorite series Only Murders in the Building (17 nominations), Euphoria (16 nominations), Squid Game (14 nominations), Stranger Things (13 nominations), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (12 nominations), Moon Knight (8 nominations) and Better Call Saul (7 nominations).

What To Expect?

Let’s just say the predictions for Emmys 2022 are quite… predictable this time, with many expecting the dark comedy-drama to bag the most wins, including Outstanding Drama Series. Ted Lasso leads the board to win the Best Comedy Series, but it is HBO’s Barry that deserves the spotlight.

The Best Limited Series award is just two days away from The White Lotus, thanks to its monumental ensemble and story. Lee Jung-jae and Zendaya are currently the faces to win the Best Actor and Actress Awards, respectively. Only time will tell who will triumph at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, happening on September 12 at the Microsoft Theater at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles.
