• Yeoh can speak four languages, Malay, English, Cantonese, and a little Mandarin.
• Being passionate about dance, she started to learn it at the age of 4 and majored in ballet at the UK’s Royal Academy of Dance.
• Due to a spinal cord injury, she distracted herself from ballet to become a  beauty pageant. At the age of 20, she won the Miss Malaysia world contest. Years later, she won the Miss Moomba beauty pageant.
• After winning the Miss Moomba beauty pageant, she was offered to act in a television advertisement for Guy Laroche watches where she shared the screen along with Jakie chan, which made a way to the big screen.
• Yeoh made her big screen debut in 1984 in the action-drama, Mao tou ying yu xiao fei xiang (The Owl vs. Bumbo). Though she never mastered Martial arts, she showcased her skill efficiently.
