We are utterly clueless on why the American President is apparently thanking the 41-year-old rapper. Kanye West recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show where he was asked why he thought Donald Trump care about black people. Kanye remained dumbfounded by this unexpected question that he hardly spoke anything. And the twist to tale took place when Trump chose Twitter to thank the singer’s support when we find no traces of Kanye actually doing anything to show his support in the first place.
The tweet read, “Thank you to Kanye West and the fact that he is willing, to tell the truth. One new and great fact – African American unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in the history of our Country. So honored by this. Thank you Kanye for your support. It is making a big difference!” This subsequently led to a lot of backlash about how inappropriate his tweet sounded. The President hasn’t still spoken further on the issue but guesses more entertainment awaits us in the near future.
